Business Workshop for Women Farmers

Business workshop for women farmers slated
Women farmers and ranchers from around the Big Island are invited to build their business skills during a Women Farmers Workshop from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 16) in Captain Cook.
The workshop is hosted by Oahu Resource Conservation and Development Council. It will include presentations about marketing, value-added enterprise and agri-tourism and a behind-the-scenes tour with Whendi Grad of Big Island Bees.
Participants will be provided informational tools and the opportunity to connect with other women farmers.
Cost is $20, which includes lunch and workshop materials.
