Richard Keonaona Case Sr., 94, of Waimea died Aug. 10 at Queen’s North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Kohala, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for the state Highways Division, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Waimea 2nd Ward and Waimea Hawaiian Civic Club, and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 18) at the Waimea Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Lunch to follow. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by wife, Camille Case of Waimea; sons, Richard K. (Helda) Case Jr. of Las Vegas, Neal K. (Evelyn) Case of Waimea and Jason K. K. (Ammy) Case of Waikoloa; daughters, Flora K. (Oscar) Bueno of Honokaa, Camille K. (Howard) Kent of Waimea and Lynn A. (Dominic) Regidor of Honolulu; brothers, Lloyd (Lani) Case of Waimea and Norman Case of Hilo; sister, Piilani Case of Honolulu; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews.
