The Hawaii Fire Department reports a wildland fire in South Kohala and has issued a Wildfire Warning for the Waikoloa Village.

Waikoloa Village: Be prepared for evacuation.

Due to the wildland fire, be advised:

• The following roads are closed: Waikoloa Road from Paniolo to Highway 190.
• The following roads are open for local traffic only: Waikoloa Road from Paniolo to Queen Kaahumanu
• Please expect traffic delays. Avoid the area when possible
• The following evacuation shelters are open:
