NOTICE OF TRAFFIC IMPACT

AFFECTED AREA:  KEA‘AU-PĀHOA ROAD (HWY 130) BETWEEN PUAKALO STREET

                                     AND KALOLI DRIVE; PAHOA, PUNA, HAWAI‘I

The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i, will be working on Keaʻau-Pāhoa Road (HWY 130) between Puakalo Street and Kaloli Drive from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2026, to install a new water service.

There will be a single-lane closure to the Kea‘au-bound lane of the highway while the construction work is occurring.  Police and message boards will be stationed to inform motorists.  Motorists should expect delays and drive with caution.
