This is a Coronavirus informational update for Thursday morning, April 9th.
On the COVID-19 status, the total number of people tested positive for Hawaii Island is 27. From this, 21 have been cleared as recovered by the Department of Health. The remaining 6 are quarantined at home and being monitored by the Department of Health. At this date, for Hawaii Island, no one tested positive had to be hospitalized.
As a reminder, COIV-19 Drive-through Testing will be conducted today in Kona at the Keahou Shopping Center. Hours are from 8:00 AM this morning to 12 noon. Testing are free.
Know that early testing means early detection, early treatment, protection of self, love ones, and your community.
