COVID-19 update for Monday, June 22nd
On today’s update of COVID-19, the number of active cases for Hawaii Island is three. An active case is defined as an individual who has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and is presently monitored by the Department of Health. At this date no one is hospitalized.
For your information, an `ohana food service is scheduled for today in North Kohala at the Kamehameha Park. Distribution will start at 10:00 this morning. Thank you Hawaii Food Basket and all contributors for making this possible for those in need and to the Hawaii National Guard, State Sherriff’s, and County Task Force for helping.
The recent new cases in all Counties emphasizes the importance of understanding that the virus threat remains and the importance of continuing to follow the policies of prevention as we go forward.
