30′ X 40′ FULLY INVOLVED STRUCTURE FIRE WITH A RESIDENTIAL EXPOSURE ON THE C-SIDE.
On arrival found a single story, 8′ high post and pier residential structure approximately 95% involved in fire. An adjacent residential structure and the surrounding trees and brush were being threatend by heat and fire. The exposures were protected and the fire was contained to the already involved structure.The fire was extinguished and overhauled but was difficult to access due to its height and unkept yard. HPD officers arrived on scene and started gathering info from neighbors.The house was known to be occupied by squatters, but no one was found on scene or in the structure. The scene was left in the care of HFD Fire inspector and HPD. All other HFD units returned to quarters.
Cause is unknown and under investigation
