Single family dwelling 100% involved with fire. According to reporting party, house was vacant, heard their dogs barking and looked outside to see flames coming from structure.
On arrival found a vacant single story single family dwelling 100% involved with fire. No bystanders at scene. Due to structural collapse imminent, defensive strategy was assumed, no nearby structures were threatened. Fire was contained without spread to other structures or brush. HPD utilized for road block due to downed power line on Kaloli Drive. Overhaul commenced after power was disconnected by HELCO. Once fire was out, scene turned over to HPD. Per HPD no investigation by fire inspector was indicated.
Wood frame single family dwelling, built on post and pier, with corrugated metal roof, approx 1250 sq ft.
