Two story, 3 Bedroom/1 bath, Single wall wood constuction, Cement slab foundation,
Approximately 1684 sq. ft in size.
After HELCO crews cleared the hazard. Corrugated iron roof collapsed. Utilized both 1.75″
attack lines and 1′ booster line from E-5 to extinguish fire. All iron roof removed to complete
overhaul of structure. E-19, E3 and T-3 did a water shuttle operation to supply water to E-5
as there were no fire hydrants nearby.
Found 2 story residential structure fully engulfed upon arrival.
Energized HELCO service line to house dropped and was
blocking N. Kulani and ran along the driveway to structure.
Structure reported to be vacated. HFD personnel awaited
HELCO arrival to clear hazard to initiate fire
extinguishment.HPD shut N.Kulani Rd to all traffic
