Aloha kākou,

Ho‘ōla ko kākou Hawai‘i. May our Hawai‘i heal as one.

Join the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority and communities across Hawai‘i and beyond as we all come together on Friday, September 1 for Kīpuni Aloha no Maui, a vigil of reflection and prayer for our beloved Maui. Centered around emotional and spiritual healing rooted in Native Hawaiian practices, the day-long vigil will include leaders from diverse faiths.

In addition to ceremonies being held on each island, Kīpuni Aloha no Maui will be livestreamed in partnership with ‘Olelo, Akakū Community Media, KAKU 88.5 FM, Maui Stream, Hawaiʻi News Now, KITV4, KHON2, Nā Leo TV, Hō‘ike TV, and other media partners and on YouTube.

Tune in on September 1 at sunrise, noon and sunset or host your own vigil by livestreaming the ceremonies.
