Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two runaway siblings, 11-year-old Shaiyah Kalahiki, and 15-year-old Shanden Kalahiki, who were both reported as runaways. Shaiyah Kalahiki is considered a missing endangered child due to her age.
Both siblings were last seen on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 3:45 p.m. on Kuhio Drive in the Ainaloa Subdivision in Pahoa. Shaiyah was wearing a black long sleeve tee-shirt with white sleeves, back shorts and black Crocs footwear. Shanden was wearing a gray sweat shirt, black pants and black shoes.
Shaiyah is described as local female with a tan complexion, 5 feet 4
inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Shanden is described as a local male with a tan complexion, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
