Sharlene Iwalani “Fordays and Aunty Boodo” Kanipae, 66, of Hawi died Oct. 9 at Kohala Hospital. Born in Kohala, she was a retired worker for Lone Palm Farm in Kohala and member of Kohala Gospel of Salvation Church in Hawi. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Oct. 27 at Kohala Gospel of Salvation Church. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome. Burial at Hawi County Cemetery. Survived by sisters, Evan Napua Walker and Lynette Leilani Stevens of Hawi, Loretta Ann (Gilbert) Bigtas of Niulii and Sandra Luana (Charles) Stevens of Kona; brother, Andrew William Kaluahine (Jenny) Stevens of Kapaau; hanai brother, Harold (Jolene) Perez of Halaula; nieces and nephews.
