Maui Sheriffs searching for pre-trial felon Richard Kealoha-Kaauwai. Failed to return from court-issued temp release.
Sheriffs on Maui are searching for pre-trial felon Richard Kealoha-Kaauwai. Kealoha-Kaauwai was issued a court ordered temporary, 3-day release to attend to a personal matter. As ordered, he was released from Maui Community Correctional Center (MCCC) on Friday, October 4th and was scheduled to report back to MCCC on Monday, October 7 at 5 p.m. Maui Police and State Sheriffs were notified yesterday of his failure to return.
Kealoha-Kaauwai is 27-years-old. He is 5’6” and weighs 145 lbs. He has brown eyes and hair. He is awaiting trial for Abuse of a Family/Household Member and Promoting a Dangerous Drug 3.
