Hawaii Island Police and Hilo High School authorities are investigaing a graffiti threat discovered today at the school (03-06-2020).
It has not been determined when the threat was scribed. School authorities are remaining on alert, and at this time there are no changes being made to the school schedule.
The safety of our children attending school is paramount and there will be an increased law enforcment presence at the schools.
All threats are taken seriously and investigated to the fullest extend of the law.
Police are aksing that anyone that might have information on this graffiti to contact Officer Michael Matsumura, School Resource Officer at 935-3311.
