Māla‘ai Road, South Hilo – Water Main Break

AFFECTED AREAS:           MĀLA‘AI ROAD,  ALAWAENA STREET, AINAOLA DRIVE, AINAOLA PLACE, AND KĀLONA STREET; SOUTH HILO, HAWAI‘I

This is an urgent message from the Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i.

Water customers in the affected areas may experience no water or low water pressure while DWS crews repair a broken water main.  All water customers in the upper Ainaola Drive area are asked to conserve water until service is restored.

Repairs are expected to be completed late tonight. Updates will be issued as necessary and may be viewed at www.hawaiidws.org.

The DWS thanks affected customers and the general public for their cooperation, patience, and

understanding while it works to maintain the community’s supply of safe drinking water.
