This is a COVID-19 informational update for Wednesday, October 6th.
For Hawaii County, Department of Health reports 34 new cases and 708 active cases, with 20 persons hospitalized.
Mahalo, for continuing your efforts to keep Hawaii safe by following the preventive measures of face masks, distancing, limiting gatherings, and washing your hands frequently with soap and water. You are making a difference.
For today, Wednesday, a Community Test Clinic is scheduled in Hilo at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from 2 pm to 6 pm.
For tomorrow, Thursday, testing and Vaccination will be in Hilo at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from 11 am to 4 pm. And testing will be in Ka`u at the Pahala Community Center from noon to 2 pm.
