Official Report: Kaimu Chain of Craters Road near 24 mile marker Structure Fire

1 story unpermitted structure approxamate size 20’x25′
On arrival found a 1 story structure fully involved in fire. Fire was extinguished and overhaul completed. HPD was also on scene. No was rescue needed. Surrounding exposures were unaffected by fire. Homeowner/occupants were not home during the fire. There were 3 pet geese that were confirmed to be dead within their cages. According to report from neighbors, the owner was burning some trash and then left the fire scene unattended in a green KIA just prior to the structure catching on fire. Scene turned over to HPD for further investigation. All units returned to quarters.
STRUCTURE FIRE: Single story residential approximately 20’x25′ (500 sq. ft.) fully involved in fire and collapsed shortly after arrival. Also two vehicles and a small pile of tires burning.
Cause: Undetermined and Under investigation at this time.
