Official Report…21 Pohai Street Structure Fire

9 HFD apparatus; 20 HFD personnel
Single Family Residential Structure.
Above HFD resources reponded to a report of a structure fire, possible propane tank on fire at the noted location. HPD on scene, fire extinguished prior to HFD’s arrival. Upon investigation, a propane tank supplying a instant hot water heater ignited in the garage. Two patients were transported to Hilo Medical Center in stable condition. Investigation being handled by HPD.
