Large surf
Mid 30’s male stranded on an outcropping of rocks due to large surf.
Per witnesses on scene, the victim jumped into the water intentionally to go swimming. Due to poor judgement and the large surf the victim was unable to exit the water along the shoreline, the vicitm was able to make it up onto an outcropping of rocks where he got stranded, The victim was safely rescued of the rocks with the use of Chopper 2, 1 rescue man, and the Billy pugh net. No EMS treatment or transport was needed after the victim was evaluated by Medic 12- personnel.
