Advisory: Missing Person: 72-year-old Linda M. Barat

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 72-year-old Linda M. Barat who was reported missing. She was last seen this morning around 10:30 a.m., February 1, 2022 at the Puainako Street / Railroad Avenue junction in Hilo.

Barat is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 3 inches, 95-100 pounds, with light-brown/gray shoulder-length hair, blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink- and white-colored shirt, pink-colored leggings with the name “bebe” on the side, and light gray colored shoes.
She may be in possession of a shopping cart and/or a blue-colored bag.

She has a pre-existing injury to her left palm and her right knee.
