Under investigation for Possible Arson

On arrival found a structure approx. 2,000 sq.ft. fully involved with fire. Fire extinguished and overhaul completed. On arrival the power was still in service from HELCO. HPD was on-scene on Co10 arrival. No rescue needed. After extinguishment and mop up complete scene was left secured by HPD. All units returned to quarters.

Residential fairly newer Type 5 construction approximately 2,000 sq. ft. single story house that was unoccupied with a for sale sign in the front yard.

STRUCTURE FIRE: Single story Type 5 residential fully involved with fire & smoke. The structure was an unoccupied house for sale. There was no rescue needed. No other exposures were threatened. Fire was contained and extinguished. HPD remained on scene awaiting inspectors
