Hawaii mom says she’s faced intimidation for speaking out on Navy’s Red Hill fuel spill
Ariana Wyatt, mom to 4-year-old Indy Rose, is thrilled to be leaving Hawaii in just a few weeks.
The military spouse said while she was initially happy her husband was stationed in “paradise,” the past six months living on the island has been a “nightmare.”
Since late last year, Indy has been treated by various doctors. Wyatt, 30, said Indy only became ill after drinking and bathing in tap water provided to military families at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and the surrounding areas.
“New symptoms have popped up,” Wyatt said of her daughter’s current health issues.
