Alert: 06-24-22 Missing Endangered Pahoa Man Wayne Borreta
Hawai‘i Island police are seeking the community’s assistance in locating 52-year-old Wayne Borreta of Pahoa, who has been reported missing and is considered endangered as he has a medical condition that requires medication.
He was last seen on Wednesday June 22, 2022, around 3 p.m. in the area of Hawaiian Shores, Pahoa.
Borreta is described as local, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170 pounds, bald top with white long hair worn in a pony tail, long white beard with tattoos covering his entire body. He was last seen wearing a black jersey tank top, tan surf shorts with black lines and he was barefoot.
Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
