The National Weather Service cancelled the Ashfall Advisory for all districts of Hawaii Island.
The threat for Ashfall has ended. However, people with respiratory illness or sensitivities should continue to be mindful of the potential for areas of low air quality due to VOG.
Shelters remain open at Old Kona Airport in Kailua-Kona and Ka`u Gymnasium in Pahala.
