The Hawai‘i Tourism Authority, in partnership with the Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association, Hawai‘i Visitors and Convention Bureau, Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, and Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association, will host the 6th Annual Tourism Day at the Capitol on Friday, March 10.
First held in 2016 by the Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association, this event has grown to include partnerships and participation by a vast array of visitor industry, community, and cultural organizations. It offers attendees the opportunity to meet, talk story, and educate our legislators and government officials on the work, reach, and importance of Hawai‘i’s visitor industry.
Last held just prior to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited for Tourism Day at the Capitol to make its highly anticipated return. The event will feature a Visitor Industry Trade Show from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the fourth floor and an open breakfast that will be hosted from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in State Capitol Room 325.
If your business or organization is interested in joining our trade show with a booth, click on the following link.
Please note that space is limited and will be considered on a first come, first served basis. There is no cost to host a booth and we will provide tables and chairs.
If you will be joining us for breakfast, please RSVP by March 3rd by emailing HLTA Director of Membership & Events Sharilyn Kazunaga at skazunaga@hawaiilodging.org.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact HTA Brand Manager Irina De La Torre at idelatorre@gohta.net.
