Medicaid changes will better serve residents with disabilities, the elderly

HONOLULU — The Hawaii Department of Health announced in a news release its Developmental Disabilities Division has been working to meet the required nationwide compliance for Medicaid’s “Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services.” The broad changes to the program will enable Hawaii residents with disabilities and older adults to live and fully take part in their communities.
