Manoa Falls Trail to close for repair work from June 26
HONOLULU — The Department of Land and Natural Resources advises the public of the upcoming closure of the Manoa Falls Trail beginning June 26 for maintenance and repairs, according to a news release.
The KUPU Hawaii Youth Conservation Corps will assist the DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife staff with work that includes trail hardening and run-off management to reduce soil erosion and slippery conditions caused by heavy foot traffic and the wet climate of Manoa Valley.
