Three parks on Oahu’s west side to close

HONOLULU — The Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation announced in a Friday news release the upcoming closures of Kamokila Community Park in Honokai Hale, Mauna Lahilahi Beach Park in Waianae and Puuloa Beach Park in Ewa.


What You Need To Know

    • Kamokila Community Park will close from June 26 to June 30
    • Mauna Lahilahi Beach Park will close for three months starting July 1
  • Puuloa Beach Park will close for the Independence Day weekend, July 3 to July 5

Kamokila Community Park will close starting from Monday, June 26, to June 30 for the repaving of the parking lot. The park is expected to reopen on July 1, barring any weather and schedule disruptions.
