HONOLULU — A busy week for the Department of Public Safety’s Sheriff Division ended with two fugitives in custody and a hit-and-run suspect on the run for injuring a state deputy sheriff during a traffic stop.

On Monday, Sheriff Division Airport Section deputies arrested a 34-year-old man on an extradition warrant out of Pole County, Fla., for failure to appear in court.
Also on Monday, Oahu sheriffs with the Airport Section arrested a 50-year-old man on an extradition warrant out of South McHenry County, Ill.
Both cases were turned over to the Department of the Attorney General and both individuals have extradition hearings scheduled in First Circuit Court
