Hawaii Island Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Daniel Pond, who was reported as a runaway. However, due to his age, Pond is classified as an endangered missing child.
Pond was last seen on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 6:00 a.m. on Onipaa Street wearing a black face mask, dark sunglasses, gray jacket, dark jeans and white adidas shoes.
He is described as a Hawaiian/Japanese/Portuguese/Mexican male, 4′ 10″ in height, weighing 100 pounds, short black hair, brown eyes, thin build, medium complexion and a scar above his left eye.
Possibly in the company of another runaway, his sister, Michelle Pond, F-14.
