7 HFD apparatus; 13 HFD personnel
Per resident, a lit gas lantern used for light fell over and started the fire.
HFD and HPD responded for a structure fire. Co-10 arrived on scene to find a single story wooden structure partially involved in fire. The structure was approximatley a 20′ x 20′ unpermitted shack type of struture. Extingushing operations were initiated by Co-10 with E-18 supplying additional water and manpower. HPD arrived on scene first to help create a safe scene during fire extinguishment operations. The fire was extinguished and overhaul completed. The resident requested to be taken to HMC ER for emotional distress due to the loss of his home but was not physically harmed in the incident.
Multiple HFD units and HPD were dispatched to a structure fire on Kuleana Drive. Upon arrival found a 20’x20′ single story, wood structure fully involved in fire.
