The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has CANCELLED the Tsunami Warning and issued a Tsunami Advisory for the Island and State of Hawaii.
A Tsunami Warning CANCELLATION means that the threat from a destructive tsunami has passed.
A Tsunami Advisory means that strong currents and waves may cause dangerous conditions in or very near water.
Authorities report that there is no damage in costal areas and that it is safe to enter the Tsunami Evacuation Zone.
Be advised that shelters will remain open until 7:00 am on Wednesday morning.
