Partial road closure, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
HILO, Sept. 18, 2025 – Hawaiian Electric crews will install a utility pole in Kaloko, north Kona, on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
The makai lane of Mamalahoa Highway between Lihau Street and Kaloko Drive will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. while the work is being performed.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and to drive with caution when approaching the work zone. Flagmen will be onsite to provide traffic control.
