…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING
TO MIDNIGHT HST WEDNESDAY NIGHT…
* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up
to 3 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Winds
gusting as high as 35 mph this morning, decreasing this afternoon.
* WHERE…Big Island Summits above 11000 feet
* WHEN…From 6 AM this morning to midnight HST Wednesday Night.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Blowing snow will
significantly reduce visibility at times, with periods of zero
visibility. Plan on slippery road conditions.

…HIGH SURF ADVISORY THROUGH 6 AM HST WEDNESDAY FOR EAST FACING
SHORES OF KAUAI OAHU MAUI MOLOKAI AND THE BIG ISLAND…
…COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT IS CANCELLED…
.Combination of strong easterly and a moderate northeast swell
will generate rough high surf along east facing shores through
tonight and should drop below advisory levels Wednesday.
.The Coastal Flood Statement has been canceled. Most tide gauges
show peak water levels have dropped near to below minor flooding
levels during peak tides Monday and will continue to trend below
minor flooding levels with the peak high tide early this morning.
…HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM HST
WEDNESDAY…
…COASTAL FLOOD STATEMENT IS CANCELLED…
* WHAT…Surf heights of 8 to 12 feet.
* WHERE…East facing shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui and
the Big Island.
* WHEN…Until 6 AM HST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents
will make swimming dangerous.
Instructions: Heed all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don`t go out.
