The County of Hawai’i is pleased to report that it will go live with a refreshed website on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.

Since the initiative to redesign the County of Hawai‘i’s website started in December 2016, the project has been a multi-agency effort to redesign the old website, and provide information and online services in an improved user-friendly and accessible way.

New features include a more robust public documents search function, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance with regulations for State and local governments, and a securely-hosted environment.

The County worked with Granicus, a leading provider of government website design, to build a site that was informed by analytics and feedback from residents, to ensure that the site is reflective of the County’s unique needs.

The current domain hawaiicounty.gov will redirect to the new secure site on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
