Public Invited to Two Coffee with a Cop Events in Hilo in August
As part of their ongoing community outreach to listen to community members, Hawai‘i Police Department is holding two Coffee With a Cop events in the Hilo area during August in order for the public to get to know their district police officers.
These popular events are intentionally informal with no agenda. Topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.
Stop by and get to know your district and Community Policing Officers over a cup of coffee!
The Hilo Community Policing Section’s Coffee with a Cop events will take place on the following dates:
- Monday, August 17, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at Safeway Starbucks, 391 E Maka‘ala Street, Hilo.
- Friday, August 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m, at Blooms, 215 Hualalai Street, Hilo.
