Upon arrival found approx. 1200sq ft. post & pier single story wooden structure residence. The rear portion engulfed in smoke & flames with smoke exiting windows. Unknown if occupied. No fire hydrants in the immediate area.
HFD units responded to a Structure Fire of a wooden structure single story residence appox.1200sq ft. in size. Upon arrival, rear portion of house engulfed in flames and smoke exiting windows. Responding HFD units performed search, extinguished flames utilizing attack lines and water shuttle operations. Initial search with no occupants found. Occupants arrived on scene shortly afterwards and stated no one had been home. Salvage and overhaul performed. No fire hydrants in the immediate area. HPD at scene. Cause of fire under investigation. No injuries were reported related to the incident.
