Wood frame unpermitted dwelling, built on post and pier, with corrugated metal roof, approx
6000 sq ft.
On arrival found a vacant single story unpermitted dwelling 100% involved with fire. No
bystanders at scene. Due to structural collapse imminent, defensive strategy was assumed,
no nearby structures were threatened. Fire was contained without spread to other structures
or brush. HPD utilized for road block and scene control. Overhaul commenced after fire was
under control. Once fire was out, scene turned over to HPD.
