Girl Scouts of Hawaii earn Gold Awards
HONOLULU — Ten Girl Scouts of Hawaii earned the highest recognition of the organization by designing and executing a project that fulfills a need within the community, creates change and is sustainable.
Ten young women received the 2022 Girl Scout Gold Awards at the Girl Scouts Higher Awards Ceremony held on June 12.
“Each year, we are amazed by the creativity and incredible impact of the Gold Award projects,” said Shari Chang, in a news release. Chang is the CEO of Girl Scouts of Hawaii. “The Girl Scouts are truly changemakers, and we look forward to seeing what they will accomplish in the future. We are honored to award these girls our most prestigious achievement, and are grateful to have had the opportunity to help shape these leaders of tomorrow.”
