The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a High Surf
Advisory, which is in effect until 6 PM HST this evening. The
High Surf Warning has been cancelled.
- SURF…10 to 14 feet along east facing shores of Kauai, Oahu,
Molokai, Maui and Big Island. -
TIMING…Through this afternoon.

IMPACTS…Moderate…Expect strong breaking waves, shore break,
and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming difficult
and dangerous.
Instructions: Beachgoers, swimmers, and surfers should heed all advice given by ocean safety officials and exercise caution. Boaters should expect recreational surfers and body boarders utilizing harbor channels to access surfing areas.

.A cold upper low over the eastern half of the state will continue
to bring wintery weather conditions over Haleakala on Maui, and
the Big Island summits through this afternoon.

…WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED…
- WHAT…Snow is occurring. Additional snow accumulations of 2
to 4 inches are expected over Maunakea and Maunaloa. Additional
snow accumulations up to 1 inch forecast over Haleakala. -
WHERE…Haleakala Summit and Big Island Summits.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Be prepared for near zero visibilities at
times on slick icy roads.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will

limited visibilities, and use extreme caution while driving.
