The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i, announces it will conduct the following two fire hydrant flow tests:
- Along Kealaka’a Street in North Kona from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023
- Along Waiānuenue Ave. in South Hilo from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023
The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.
Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their
drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.
