County Park with water fall viewing area.
A 35yo male was extracted off of the rock ledge by rescue personnel via Chopper 1 using a
billy pugh net. The male patient was then transferred to an awaiting medic unit and transported
to Hilo Medical Center Emergency Room in serious condition.
35 year old male found on rock ledge at the edge of
the pond beneath Rainbow Falls. Male fell onto rock
outcropping, then into the pond after attempting to
climb down a cliff wall next to the falls.
