Official Report….39th Avenue off of Orchidland Drive, Paradise Park Structure Fire

Cause is undetermined.

Approximately 1000 square foot house, reported to be occupied by 1 person per neighbors, fully involved, collapsed to the ground, charged power line crossing driveway blocking access to the fire.  Very long and narrow driveway was navigated to reach the fire.

All units responded to above location for a structure fire.  Upon arrival structure was fully involved and collapsed to the ground.  Access to fire was prolonged due to long narrow driveway and charged power line blocking driveway.  HELCO arrived and secured power line to allow complete access to the fire.  Approximately 1000 square foot structure was completely collapsed and 100% involved.  There was a nearby structure on the property which was not involved in the fire.  Fire was extinguished and overhauled.  All units returned to quarters.
