Maunakea Summit Closed

The summit is closed to the public at the Visitor Information Station at an elevation of 9200 ft due to high humidity, freezing temperatures, snow with icy road conditions. There is also a winter weather advisory for the summits of the Big Island til late Friday evening. The summit roads will be monitored with updates to follow.
