HAWAIʻI COUNTY ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF STATE SENIOR SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

The Department of Parks & Recreation’s Elderly Activities Division is pleased to announce the winners of the 48th Hawai‘i State Senior Softball Tournament, which took place in Kona August 6-8.

Over 1,200 players from O‘ahu, Kaua‘i, Maui and Hawai‘i Island competed at Old A’s Ballfields at Kailua Park in Kona during the three-day tournament.

Coordinated by the Elderly Activities Division, the tournament featured eight different divisions. Parks & Recreation congratulates the winning teams and thanks all the participants for once again making this an exciting and special event.
