TRAFFIC IMPACT NOTICE
AFFECTE AREA: HĀWĪ ROAD SOUTH OF THE INTERSECTION WITH AKONI PULE
HIGHWAY (ROUTE 270); KAPA‘AU, NORTH KOHALA, HAWAI‘I
The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i, will be working on Hāwī Road in
Kapa‘au from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025, to replace a fire hydrant.
During this work, the northbound lane of travel will be closed and one alternating lane with traffic
control will remain open. Motorists should expect delays and plan accordingly.
