Utility work to impact Ahikawa Street in Kona
Road closure 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
HILO, March 3, 2025 – Hawaiian Electric crews will replace a utility pole on Ahikawa
Street in Kona on Wednesday, March 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The work will require a full road closure near the intersection of Ahikawa Street and
Kauhale Street while the work is being performed.
Motorists are advised to use Ahulani Street as an alternate route. Flagmen will be onsite
to provide traffic control.
