Road Closure Notice for Kapiolani Street
The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Public Works (DPW) will be performing street light foundation and sidewalk work on Kapiolani Street. To accommodate this work, a road closure will be in effect as follows:
Location: Kapiolani Street (northbound lane) from Lanikaula Street to the Hospice of Hilo at 590 Kapiolani St.
Date: Thursday, April 3
Time: 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Traffic Impact: No through traffic northbound at Lanikaula Street.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and to exercise caution when traveling in the area. Pedestrian access will be maintained where possible. DPW apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the public’s cooperation.
