Hotels Strikers Reach Tentative Deal
UPDATE: Union workers will vote on the agreement today.
The union for some 2,700 striking Hawaii hotel workers has reached a tentative deal with management to end a work stoppage that’s dragged on for 51 days.
The agreement will now go to a ratification vote.
It was unclear when that vote will happen, and officials haven’t said when workers will be back on the job.
The deal came in the second day of talks between management and the union at Ala Moana Hotel.
