2.01″ Rain in Hawi Last Night
North Kohala had a good rainfall with plenty of lightning and thunder last evening. Starting around 8PM and lasting till after midnight, there were 44 lightning strikes in the vacinity and a little more than 2 inches of rain was recorded here in Hawi around 1000′ elevation. It was reported that power went out in Halaula after a power pole was struck.
